Tyler Tronnes, General Manager

Tyler’s passion for the industry started the day he turned 19. From his humble start at Pubs to the frantic pace of Nightclubs, Tyler has over 10 years in the service industry.  His love and experience in the trade led him to opening and managing the newly minted Avenue Bar. From backyard keg parties of the Okanagan to fashion release shows in Sydney to VIP appreciation dinners at Sandals & Beaches Resorts, Tyler’s flexibility, determination and patience are his greatest strengths.  He constantly strives for growth and professionalism, making him the logical choice to be our General Manager.

Lucky Ahluwalia, Social Concierge

Lucky is an easy guy to like and a hard character to forget.   Originally from Saskatoon, he brings a wealth of experience and respect with him to Avenue.  He has been a mainstay in the Okanagan area for the last decade. Lucky seems to know everyone in the hospitality industry and currently shares his influence with a couple of establishments.  He is a silent partner at Avenue but an integral part of our philosophy which centers around a friendly, comfortable ambiance for our family, friends and guests.

Ivan Chew, Marketing Director

Ivan Chew has diverse experience from working in the industry for the better part of ten years in Western Canada within venues of all concepts and sizes.  He has been involved in the business as a bartender, server, mixologist, manager, performer, blogger, designer, photographer and marketing.  Ivan splits his time between Vancouver and Kelowna to pursuit his current endeavors in Design and Marketing.  AVENUE is considered his most personal project to date.

Ho Nguyen, Promoter

Ho, is the official promoter and a partner at Avenue. He was born and raised in Kelowna and grew up with Simpson who used to change his diapers!  Ho has been instrumental in revitalizing the downtown scene and has made life long friends in the process.  Currently working at Shaw Cable while promoting on the side, the opportunity to partner up with two of his best friends Tyler Tronnes and Dave Simpson is a dream come true.  Now as the official promoter of Avenue, he envisions it to become a Kelowna hot spot for locals and visitors alike.  He looks forward to playing host for you at Avenue Classic Bar – A\Venue for all!

Dave Simpson, Head Bartender

Dave Simpson is a partner at Avenue Classic Bar.   Dave has over 10 years experience traveling abroad and yet he remains close to home to train bartenders in the art of flair.  Simpson's experience in the field of bar consultation has now led him to his newest endeavour – Avenue Classic Bar.   During his years in the service industry, Dave Simpson has worked with the best and has been featured in several publications, television productions, and events most notably with the MTV music network, The Masters in Augusta, and the nationally syndicated Rachael Ray Show.
